Not sure what the question is. If you have you ExtRom cabs in the ExtRom, they should install. If you edited the config.txt in the boot folder on the SD, they should install as well. I am not sure about the inbox attachments. Where are they? What do you mean by "it is not downloading them completely"?

On the last flash, it created a folder on my storage card called vzextrom and it shows up like another storage card. There are a bunch of all types of files including apache etc. When I synced outlook, it created my inbox attach folder inside of it instead of on storage card and the attachments are not downloading unless I go into the email and try to open the attachment. It says it will download on next sync and does.
I am re-flashing and going to sync again and see.
Just curious about the folder. It has never been there before.
Thanks for your help!

Ah, I think that is because the ExtRom is unhidden. I have heard of this before. If it keeps happening, you might want to search around for the thread on it.

after intalling the real 3.5.7. i llike.

- the dead shortcut (settimezoneinfo) is gone.
- first release of 3.5 where null keyboard works
- some new apps
- reg hack for having outlook show emails from the top
- id transfer and notifyme
"notifyme" hasn't showed me if the sd has dis-connected.. haven't had that happen yet..

all around i like it..

- also when the phone booted up and wanted to install the telus cabs on the ext_rom.. i did a soft reboot and didn't install anything.. phone works perfectly fine. would only have to add the telus number for the data service.

yeah, only bad thing about resetting before it installs the cabs is that you may miss out on some other stuff. The other thing you can do is to just have the cabs you want installed in the ExtRom and the customization will only install what is there.

Install this to your computer. disable active sync, plug in ppc and run the file. This will get you out of bootloader.

Can I delete the extended_rom2 folder somehow? It is putting my inbox attachments in there (instead of storage card as checked) and they aren't dowloading correctly/fully. I did a search and can't find anything.
