Ok sorry about that, i figured hiding it will force the ppc to see the memory card, guess you have to lock it to. heres the reg for locking it

[HKLM\System\StorageManager\AutoLoad\TRUEFFS_DOC1]
"Bootphase"=dword:00000001 (or 00000000. should be the other)

it should be showing 00000002 and that is the value you need to unlock it.

Why are you synching to your pc for pop email when you can do that directly with your ppc.

Thanks. Not sure I understand you last question. It is a pop3 email (business) and I am syncing my ppc to my pc outlook.

I meant you can get your ppc to actually sync the email directly from the server rather than go tru your pc. When you say you are syncing, are you wireless syncing or with usb cable?

I made the reg change, soft reset, synced and they didn't download. Do I need to re-do something. I did notice the change of memory available though. We're getting close...
I really appreciate your help.

I just installed the 3.5.7

Everything works GREAT I just cant get the TEXT messages working. I get an error "Can not deliver message"

Error Class : Temporary
Cause Code : NoAck

Message failed would you like to retry?

The message actualy does get sent and if I choose the option send again then it sends twice.

Any Ideas?

Oh ya and the other thing.. Why the hell cant anyone make the picture mail work? I hate opening IE and going to the websight. I just want the picture on my phone is that to much to ask of sprint??? GRRRR (I think that is the only thing that bothers me now because I use your rom... NEVER used sprints version.)

I have never synced my email with usb before. Always synced over the air. But lets try the same concept.
while the ppc is connected, open microsft activesync, click on tools, options, highlight email and click settings. now come on to the chatroom again. Forgot to mention earlier that i was on ppc and went by crackbaby

colonel, i've just installed 3.5.7 all but sprint. and I`ve noticed that this build is a bit slower than 3.5.3, and each time I try to change the theme in today takes a long time, and 1 more thing, if I turn on the notify me apps, everytime I turn on my device there this notification like the the storage card as if been pull out, and I didn`t even pull it out, and the application that can close if I hit x button, do not close the application either..

that my experience, anyone having the same?

Not sure about the text errors. I have not seen them. I do remember them from way back when I first got my 6700, but I do not remember what I did to fix it. Hate to say it, but perhaps another hard reset is in order.

dennygum, unfortunately I have found that NotifyMe will go off every time the SD card is unmounted and not just removed physically. You can disable it and if that doesn't work you can go to \Windows\Startup and remove the link there.

Yeah I had to disable notify me. It was driving me absolutely crazy. It would go off even if the volume was off and on vibrate. Uhhg. Great idea, but oh well.
