Exactly. It is actually called extended_rom2
Can I delete the extended_rom2 folder somehow? It is putting my inbox attachments in there (instead of storage card as checked) and they aren't dowloading correctly/fully. I did a search and can't find anything.
Do not delete the ext_rom2 folder
The reason why your attachments are going to the ext rom2 folder is because it is unhidden. Normally it is hidden but since col unlocked and unhid the ext_rom it is now available as a storage card for you to install apps to.
Your attachments are not fully downloading cos that is not setup in your email settings options. Is this pop email or exchange server?
If you want it hidden again so attachments will go to storage card you will need to edit the registry.

In my email settings, I have it checked for attachments to be saved to storage card..?? It is pop3.
So I should hide it? If so do you know the red edit?

This should hide the ext_rom.

[HKLM\System\StorageManager\Profiles\TRUEFFS_DOC1]
"MountHidden"=dword:00000001

This should be what is existing and what to change to if you would like to revert back
[HKLM\System\StorageManager\Profiles\TRUEFFS_DOC1]
"MountHidden"=dword:00000000

yep they should. Now, you still need to change your email settings to dl all rather than just the header or dl the whole attachment.
open messages, click menu, tools, options, click on the pop email account to change settings, and make changes as necessary, click advanced and also make changes there too.

OK. It is hidden now but the the attachments are still going to that folder (I just can't see it). The only problem with that is it doesn't download the attachments unless I go into each email and request it. And yes, settings are correct in email settings. The attachments never went there before why now?

I am syncing with a pc and it's a pop3 account.
after I go into an email and try to open an attachment it says it will download on next sync. so I sync and get the error.
