Honestly, I cannot remember if it was in the older one. I am 99.999999% positive that it is in the new rom for non-Sprint users.

there's no icon for it in the preferences and i tried the joystick and no apps opened.. also.. there's a dead shortcut in this rom update.
settimezoneinfo is the name of it. whats that for?

Ok, found the problem. I guess I placed the wrong nk.nbf in the file. I am putting a new zip up now. Will be a little while before it is up.

which file did i install, 3.5.3 and also what is settimezoneinfo used for because its a dead short cut in start > programs.

i'm glad we found out what the issue was before mass people downloaded that rom update.. thanks again colonel... i'll let you know how it goes.. lemme know when your done uploading and i'll install right away.
*** EDIT *** this rom update also didn't have the nice theme with the grass wallpaper. thats what i was using on the sprint 3.5.3..

re-downloaded 3.5.7AllCarrierButSprint.zip and doing the rom upgrade now.. this time when the installer detects the nk.nbf file it said
version: Col3.5.7 *** EDIT *** - installed. the splash screen is diff.. has htc's logo and the helicopters.. wiked shit..

Do I need to keep the vz extended rom that was created on the storage card? It put my inbox attachments in there as well and is not downloading them completly.
