Just an hour ago. Well, the new nk.nbf file is in the folder with the package that I extract. Do I need to do something further?
Thanks for your help!

Ok that is the current rom. Are you hard resetting after you flash, cos it seems like you are still on the old rom.

Hard reset is done by holding the left & right soft keys and using your stylus to push the soft reset button. Open keyboard and press 'Y' (press space bar also if required)

also check and see if you have key lock in start, settings, system tab. (this will also verify its the latest rom)

Easiest way to do it is to install the actual cab or installer. Then, once it is installed, find VoiceCmd.exe and copy it to your SD. You should put the .exe in the Boot folder on the SD card. Then you can hard reset and VoiceCmd.exe will be copied from the SD to \Windows for you and all you will have to do is to go into Settings and enable VC.

you guys are mind readers. i am using the latest sprint rom available and i never i had that option where when i would open the phone i could press left/right/up/down on the joystick to open different things and i loved it.. so i was coming on here to ask someone if it was included and my answer was right there.. but it definitly isn't included with this rom update..

i was using the 3.3 telus rls before and smartskey was included.

i checked in.. start > preferences
what is have is onlock prefs & sipchange

is that smartskey included with 3.5.7AllCarrierButSprint.zip as I will be trying this right away.

i had downloaded this 3.5.7any carriernk.nbf the other day. but i assume that has now been changed ?

*** EDIT ***
i just updated to the 3.5.7, when you run the installer and it does the check/verify of the nk.nbf. it comes up as PPCGEEKS_3.5.3... you might want to update that colonel.

*** EDIT ***
ok, so i downloaded and installed 3.5.7any carriernk.nbf. looks exactelly like 3.5.3, what exactelly changed. also thats smartskey is not included with the rom update. anyone got the cab so i can install it?

thanks, redz
