Saridnour, it looks like you're moving closer to rolling together a PR6 release. Any chance that there's still room in the ROM for Microsoft Reader? That's one "big" memory hog I and others use that would be great to get into the ROM space.

Thanks everyone for teseting Make sure to give all your working cf .net apps a once through as well as ones that may have failed on you earlier.
Ill also look at the reader. If its a flat install I might be able to squeak it into the pr6 release as there should be room. Im not going to add anything though that need sup dir as this takes up space and why I have not added in the sbsh weather app that I run. No reason to take away ones space if they are not going to use it as it takes rom space as well as storage space as they get copied out of the rom. I could possibly add the core files to the main windows dir and allow you to install the sub dir and shortcuts yourself so "gof" if you know of a reader that you would like in and know its structure let me know what you have found. -saridnour |

Reader - uBook; TCPMP as default - status?
Saridnour-
Thanks for your hard work on this ROM. As far as readers go, you may want to consider using uBook instead. Much better interface and program. It was recommended to me by an xda-developers review of all book readers that are out there. By the way, where did things end up on the debate re: replacing the default Windows Media Player with TCPMP? It seems like that possibility just plain disappeared off the board. My two cents. -David |

Microsoft Reader is available from their website. I'd post the link but I haven't posted enough. I checked the site for uBook (first hit from Google) but it doesn't support LIT format which is Microsoft's native ebook format.
