JESUS CHRIST we're getting close to perfection!

Now, if only we can have it make toast....

Actually, that might be going backward.

How 'bout making it hover about 3 inches above any surface. That way when it's dropped it will not get scratched!
Then, next time I get that "unimpressed" response from a nongeek after telling them about my phone I can just toss it towards the lake and have it hover a couple inches above the water... "What do ya think about THAT feature you stupid nongeek"

Saridnour, it looks like you're moving closer to rolling together a PR6 release. Any chance that there's still room in the ROM for Microsoft Reader? That's one "big" memory hog I and others use that would be great to get into the ROM space.

With part 3, I can verify that BT PAN works. I adjusted the max Bitpool setting up to 50 and deleted the Bitpool key. With usejointstereo set to 0, Gabriela Montero came through my BT stereo headphones in beautiful full stereo sound. I get no skipping anymore after ditching WMP. I bought ($20) Conduits' Pocket Player and use it for all wmp files. For all my Orb media, I use TCPMP streaming with pls. Couldn't use TCPMP for wmp because I use Napster a lot and their wmp files are protected. This setup works exceedingly well.

Raging Idiot: I like the idea of the hoovering 6700. Could we have it come back to us on command, also?

I wouldn't mind seeing this also. I also really like weatherpanel.

Nope. Just your base 3.5 PR5 ROM and the BT fix you posted a couple of posts up. Guess Vista is a little smarter with PAN support. I have applied the latest fix and I'll test PAN again later.

Thanks everyone for teseting Make sure to give all your working cf .net apps a once through as well as ones that may have failed on you earlier.
Ill also look at the reader. If its a flat install I might be able to squeak it into the pr6 release as there should be room. Im not going to add anything though that need sup dir as this takes up space and why I have not added in the sbsh weather app that I run. No reason to take away ones space if they are not going to use it as it takes rom space as well as storage space as they get copied out of the rom. I could possibly add the core files to the main windows dir and allow you to install the sub dir and shortcuts yourself so "gof" if you know of a reader that you would like in and know its structure let me know what you have found.

Reader - uBook; TCPMP as default - status?

Saridnour-

Thanks for your hard work on this ROM.

As far as readers go, you may want to consider using uBook instead. Much better interface and program. It was recommended to me by an xda-developers review of all book readers that are out there.

By the way, where did things end up on the debate re: replacing the default Windows Media Player with TCPMP? It seems like that possibility just plain disappeared off the board.

My two cents.

Microsoft Reader is available from their website. I'd post the link but I haven't posted enough. I checked the site for uBook (first hit from Google) but it doesn't support LIT format which is Microsoft's native ebook format.

I use tiny ebook reader for most everything except for those encrypted books.
