Cool-so that's what the phone app is for (I'm such a nOOb ). Now to look for the thread of phone codes and have something else to play with!

Anyone else seeing DSODs?
No problems here what-so-ever. It seems to be raging idiot proof.

I use this phone more than anyone I know. BT everything- mono and stereo headphones, I use Audible player all the time with my collection of over 100 books, I use media player frequently for music, tethering for laptop internet service (about 4 times a week), Excel for mpg each time I get fuel -and various record keeping, email all the time, internet searches multiple times a day, TomTom for navigation, Project-ing for project management/alarms/appointments, Weather Panel for forecasts...

Other than those everyday things there isn't much functionality on this phone I don't use at some point. Even the backlight lends itself to use when jogging or biking at night.

Phone calls...oh yeah..I use it for that also!

Yet to come across a DSOD since 3.5.4sp1 ...except when playing with certain settings such as XCPUScalar scaling past 520mhz will kill it everytime.

DSODs:

I don't use my phone as much as Raging Idiot, but I do use it a lot for a variety of things. This rom has been very stable. I got into looking for rom upgrades because I was interested in BT stereo functionality. I'm definitely getting that with this rom, but, also, a whole lots more!

It seems the majority of people I meet that have a ppc6700 generally only use it as a phone and a place to store their toothpic (aka stylus).

Speaking of which...I need to find a place to order Styli in mass quantities. Otherwise I'll have to seriously geek up my phone with a rubber band "upgrade".

I beat up Sprint and all I have to show for it is this lousy
When you were in diapers and wetting the sheets I was out hacking with the ppcgeeks.

Raging Idiot: Slightly bend your Stylus, it will keep it from slipping out as much. It just gives it the extra bite while in the unit.

Just like with pens pencils and girlfriends, I just keep laying them down and eventually part ways.

Besides, I think my phone is lesbian.

I'm going to blame it on that latest ROM update for this conversion problem.

Originally everything was fine. Eventually I had to bend it, twist it, and push real hard to achieve satisfactory results. But now just to keep from separation I may have to rubber up.

Also on the wisbar, I have not had that issue. You may want to look at other apps running on your system as they may conflict. Try hard resetting and running the rom in a barebones config using only the rom defaults and your sync'd data. Just run it this way for as long as needed to see if the cascading stops or not, then start adding your other apps back in one at a time testing in between.

Well I was inputing ##778 then hitting talk..... ##778# brings up the edit box, but my unlock code fails now. I was under the impression it was 000000 as this code worked on the original, but now I get "Check unlock code failed. Please input again."

I will look into the wisbar again.

Off Topic

I know this is off topic, but how do you search within a thread? I can't find that anywhere.

I'd like to know also. One thing you can do is choose to display results as posts instead of topics. Then you can see which thread the post comes from.

Yeah I have used that a lot, and it doesn't work that great either. I want to be able to dig thru some of the long threads. I have read this one completely.
