mattdb: using the phone codes app, I am able to enter ##778# and access the panel. It could be due to running the next test build, but it is working for me on sprint. Can anyone else confirm? Also on the wisbar, I have not had that issue. You may want to look at other apps running on your system as they may conflict. Try hard resetting and running the rom in a barebones config using only the rom defaults and your sync'd data. Just run it this way for as long as needed to see if the cascading stops or not, then start adding your other apps back in one at a time testing in between.

david279: Still looking itno this. Not sure why it's broken and can not locate any entries that are missing. You can access notes in contacts, etc just not the phone app.

I was unfamiliar with xcpuscalar until I saw it in this rom. Since it was there, I experiemented with it a little. To be honest, I couldn't really see a tremendous improvement in performance. Once, when I set the speed up rather high, my screen went blank. In the trial version, the scaling feature is disabled. I was just wondering what other people think about it. Is it worth the money? Do you like it for the speed? Does the scaling feature actually save on battery?

jendand: Try running a fullscreen video (divix or xvid or WMV) with a good bitrate 500mbs or better. Using xscalcpu will make a difference on playback. ALso apps like tomtom will also benefit from it.

saridnour--

I bought it. Now, how do I register? The pop-up in my expired version says to go to the immiersoft website. But I can't see anything there about registering. Also, I see nothing in the app itself. Do I extract the exe like with VC and put it in windows?

3rd day with the ROM and it is working good. Something that I was looking for and I couldn't find it was ms messenger. I used to use it from time to time when I was out of town waiting in a airport or something.

Is is it loaded with this ROM.

Thanks

jendand: that is correct. The app itself is registered. You need to copy your exe into the windows dir. and you sshold be good to go. The rest of the files are already in the rom.

jdelgado89: I did not include it in my rom. You could install another messanger app or copy back in the removed bits from another rom as I left the reg entries in place in the event that someone wanted to do that.

DSoDs

Is it just me, or has anyone noticed more DSoDs with this ROM (PR4) than with earlier ones?

I've had this one for about a week now, and I think I've had about 6-7 DSoDs occurances since then, while with other earlier ROMs (i.e. PR1) that I've had for more than a couple days I don't recall having any.

Is this the case with anyone else? If not, could it be my miniSD?

I might try reflashing soon, but I also thought I'd wait for the next release. Any idea when that will happen, Saridnour?

D1zzl3: I have had less DSOD with this Rom than earlier ones. The last real DSOD issue I had was back when I had the IE caches going to the Storage card by default. Once I removed that it didn't really happen any more. Have you loaded any system files to the storage card recently? Any new apps loaded to the sd card recently? You may want to try just running the rom defaults and your sync'd data for a bit and see if it may be 3rd party.

Anyone else seeing DSODs?
