After updating with this it will not let my VC 1.6 activate over Bluetooth. I can dial a number on the phone and place a call just fine via BT, but when trying to use VC it won't do anything.

It worked fine before the OS upgrade.

Any thoughts how to resolve this?

first off let me start by saying this is one of the best, and most informative sites that I have seen. I thank all of you for the support that you give.

now of course onto the problem.

I am not sure if it is just me but after applying this update the voice out of the earpeice is much quieter.

also my video mail no longer works. like I can receive video mail but everytime I try to send it it says it is an unsupported format. I would really like to send video mail. is there any way to make this happen.

On the old rom software i installed the MMS hack and it worked flawlessly to send both pictures AND video. Then when i went ahead and did the rom update and installed AKU 2.2 it made it so that everytime i try to send a video it tells me that it is a unsupported format (i have tried every recording method).

P.S. Is there any program in the meantime that will boost the earpiece volume of my 6700 back to what it was.

This upgrade wasn't the cause of your earpiece sound issues, did u readjust ur incall volume? I done this on my new 6700 and my sound appears to be louder but maybe that's just the new device. Sorry but I bet if u was to reflash the offical upgrade ur sound would remain the same.

see here is the thing i first had this phone with the very first rom and the volume on it was never as loud as my last phone but i didnt worry too much about that. Then i went ahead and updated to the newer version of the rom that was posted. From there without ever using the phone i directly updated to AKU 2.2. Then when i was using my phone the volume is noticibly less then where it was. I dont know i mean i can sort of hear but i really have to press against the ear and hold it just right.

Will a bluetooth headset fix this??? Will i ever be able to hear again ?
