I changed the values from Minneapolis to Duluth in both the Location and Location Code. It shows up as Duluth, US on the today screen but it cant receive data for duluth. Is there an abnormal code or script I need to put in?

Try installng the cab found here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=271008
This will change your default. So you won't have to go through all those steps after a soft reset. PCM is working great once I used this utility.

Hi, this is my first post ever. So, I hope its in the right place and all.

I've been playing with wm6 and its going well but, activesync is not syncing my notes.

it does about 10 of them and then hangs. I have about 50 notes.

Im going to try a few things and check back with you guys. but is anyone else having the same?

ok , i deleted some weird notes from outlook that had what i believe to be non standard characters in the name ( like slashes and such) did not have a problem with these before. Also turn off advanced networking for usb under connects. now everything did sync ok!! yah!!!

I installed that dialer and had the same problem with the Lockup when attempting to "Add to Contacts". I did not try calling 911.

This registry edit no longer works to fix my server configuration (dnscacheenable). Note, it didn't work on 3.3 or 3.5 roms either. See this thread:

Any ideas would be awesome. At this point, I have to reset everytime I walk away from my desk and unplug my phone to clear the dns.

Anyone here notice sort of a freeze/pause period after a soft reset where if you quickly start using WM6, it will lock up or take 10-20 seconds to come "alive?" I've been having to set my phone down and wait approx. 15 seconds after I soft reset to be able to use the phone without it locking up. Nothing major since I don't reset that often, but just curious if anyone else is in this boat with me...

I'm actually having a problem with the phone too i have windows mobile 6 and i receive text messages but it doesnt let me know who its from, anyone else having this problem

I followed the instructions here, worked great with just my zip code in the loc field.....
