The Windows splash screen is a file in your \Windows folder called welcomehead.96.png. You can replace it... just make sure the new graphic file is in PNG format and give it the same name.

Change carrier splash screen too?

Is there a way to change the carrier splash screen after the fact once the ROM is loaded onto the phone? I made mine custom, but want to replace it with stock. Thanks!

Yes, search the forums for apachesplash.exe. If it doesn't come up, send me a private message and I'll arrange sending you the zip file. It contains instructions, the exe to change the pic, and a converter to conver BMP to the right picture format.
