But there's a way to work around the issue where the GL client has it's own contact list which it syncs with the exchange contacts list while other apps on the phone (e.g. Cyberon Voice Commander) look at the pocket outlook contact list. I set up ActiveSync to sync my exchange contact list with my pocket outlook contacts list. Then GL keeps my exchange contacts synced with my GL client contacts. Obviously, the pocket Outlook contacts get a bit behind if you don't use ActiveSync very often, but I don't make a lot of contact changes so it's not a big problem for me. On my device, I can add/delete/change contacts via either the GL or Outlook contacts and after I sync up, anything I changed gets propogated to the other contact list. If I make changes directly in Exchange, those also get sent to both lists. It's a waste that they don't work together directly, but this solution has worked for me the last couple of years. |

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Shell\Rai\:M SCONTACTS and changed the "String 1" value from ":MSPOUTLOOK contacts" to whole of the following: "\Program Files\GoodLink\GoodContacts.exe" After doing that, pretty much every Contacts button on the phone now routes me to my GoodLink contacts, which is exactly what I wanted. Hope it helps others! Last edited by cab3; 09-15-2007 at 01:11 AM. |

a few things....
calling 911 is delayed by about 30 seconds...and the phone needs to be reset after.... when you open sprints page in PIE, it thinks I have a Mogul (not a bug, but pretty funny). |

I am trying to get past the initial learning curve and have read nearly all 107 pages..eyes red... Where I am at is.. I have the Verizon Rom and was able to decompress it to the proper exe. I have the ability to put my phone in the boot loader mode with the indicator going from Serial to USB (v1.00). These are my issues"
1) What happens is when I have active sync connected and position my 6700 in bootloader mode active sync seems to suggest I am NOT connected..Is this normal? 2) When I am in booloader mode and clock on the APAC exe, the Dos window opens and closes immediately without any change the phone screen and still indicates the USB v1.oo in the dark screen. What should I be doing to make the rom write to my phone...thanks nc_wave |

2) open a DOS window (command prompt), change directory to wherever APAC.exe is, run APAC.exe - do you see an error message? |
