Welp got WM6 on my 6700 now. Unfortunately I've had screen issues for awhile now (where it keeps going out of alignment). This rom doesn't seem to help nor hurt such (guessing it's definitely a hardware issue by looks of it now).

ROM wise wm6 seems quite sleek and works fine out of the box quite nicely.

Think you are in the wrong forum, this is for 6700 or Apache only.

It installed great and was running fine. Then all of a sudden it locked up. Then upon reboot it hangs at the Windows Mobile splash screen. I can duplicate this issue 100% of the time.

NOTES:
1. Nothing from the extended rom was installed.
2. No additional application were installed.
3. The only configuration that took place was the setup of Exchange Active Sync (Direct Push)

I'm reinstalling the ROM as we speak in the hopes that it was just some kind of hiccup.
I re-flashed the 6700 last Friday and it's been running great ever since. Must have just been a hiccup.

Don't bother. It's a web-viewer only, and has extremely limited functionality. It's really only a demo of the interface that kinda mimics that of the iphone.

lotsa ppl have had this problem, most fixed it by disabling the weather tab in the htc home plugin. you can do it in the registry or with the customizer. theres a link for the customizer on here somewhere.

Last edited by cheesegrater; 10-01-2007 at 06:45 PM. Reason: in the registry it's : HKLM\Software\HTC\HTCHome. change tabsetting to what you want. the numbers correspond with the tabs.

Using The Extended Rom Area

hI Dudes....

my rom upgrade works very well... so i am naturally a bit scared of just
going in and deleting files in the extended area... i noticed everyone said they were not needed... and thats cool.. there is a file there that is named apache something..i dont remember exactly...

Could somene give a short explnation of the extended area and deleting stuff
in it....

thanks, FD
