I can get the phone into bootloader mode, it shows Serial up top and version 1.0 on the bottom. However, when I plug it into my PC, no matter which USB port I use (not using a hub), it never changes over to USB mode. The computer says can't recognize USB device and that's it.

Please help

This has probably been asked but I couldn't find it with a quick search. Does this work with the treo 700wx. Sprint? If so has anyone tried it and how did it work out.

Pretty sure it will not work, as this is the HTC Apache forum.

Well, it did not do that for me, really minor, but ...

I decided to try a Safe Mode program, so at least I would have a chance to recover when it froze. I loaded a program called Monocube (www.monocube.com), as it offered a 14-day trial period. When the device froze, I went into Monocube Safe Mode and was able to access the device (remove programs, change settings, etc.). I tried removing programs one by one, but each time I removed a program and soft reset it would still hang on the WM Splash Screen. I then un-checked the HTC Home Today Plug-in and the device finally loaded properly.

I don't know if this will resolve the freezing problem others are indicating, but un-checking the HTC Home Today Plug-in seems to have resolved my issues thus far.
I had this happen to me twice so far, had to hard reset both times, which is quite frustrating. I'll try removing the HTC Home today plugin, although I do like the look

So, i just got this installed (ended up using the regular Verizon rom, still not sure what the other one is for). Just seeing the new Today screen... and i LOVE it!

Oh, apparently i need to upgrade my ActiveSync to 4.5. Hrm. When i had it at 4.5 before... i started giving me problems. Oh well, i'll give it another shot, since i need to update my shiz.

My company uses the Sybase/iAnywhere "OneBridge" program to sync email, calendar and contacts to our handhelds. This has worked flawlessly on the Verizon XV6700 under WM5. Does anyone know if this will continue to work under WM6, or am I venturing into uncharted waters?

Thanks,
ParrotHead
