yes, 2000 sp4 (sucks, but possible), XP, Vista, Vista x64. XP x64 works, except for the udpater.

Re: Apache WM6.1 Kitchen CE OS 5.2.19716 (Build 19716.1.0.0) - UPDATED 20080308

I'm getting some SQL error that it can't connect..now it could be because I'm behind a corporate firewall so I'll try when I'm at my house..

Why is it connecting to a SQL db to begin with? just to capture the username's of who's using it?

Updater won't connect - error message says server may be offline. BuildOS can't connect to remote server - are the servers down, or do I have a problem??

Only Windows firewall and have tried it with it on and with it off - same thing. Was working fine from my desktop PC at home yesterday, but brand new install on my laptop at my g/f's house = no go. Been trying for about an hour.

The weird thing is the error is instant - there isn't even any network traffic sent - what gives?

you can go to the page and do a manual update you know.. simply download the current files and put them in the right directory in you buildos folder..http://ppckitchen.org/joomla/index.p...page&Itemid=55

The server is up (and has been).

Can you find me in chat?

Yeah but I get a similar error trying to run BuildOS after entering login credentials. I'll uninstall, reinstall and see how I go.
