Re: Apache WM6.1 Kitchen CE OS 5.2.19716 (Build 19716.1.0.0) - UPDATED 20080308

heh sorry about that, when I said blowing out my profile, it means, the Documents and settings area. My work puts restrictions on how big this is. BuildOS puts a lot of data under documents and settings\application data which I had to remove after the rom upgrade. Just suggesting that this may not be the best place to put this data. Maybe in the actual BuildOS folder would be a good idea?

Not that I mind deleting it after the flash, it isnt really an issue (Im definitely not complaining at all! )

I hope this isn't an extremely stupid question, but how do I see if I am using WMwifiRouter? I will disable it if it is blocking me.

Whenever I attempt to connect to the wifi router, it says Connecting then blinks and says Available.

Task Manager question.

I made sure I did not select anything remotely sounding like Task Manager in the kitchen, yet I end up with 2 Task Manager icon that does the same thing (the one with the green lightening), one under "Programs" and one under "Settings". Is this standard for 6.1? Why in both places?

Then HTC Task Manager won't work and the older 1.5xxx version locks up my phone. Any fix or alternatives? I really miss the "X" thingy to end programs.

I put 29 more up to your folder. Most are new, but some are newer versions of older shots. 3 outside my folder, 26 inside.

Re: 6.1

Also, most of the screen shots I've seen, are for the non-Pro, or SmartPhone version, not the version we are using.

Re: Apache WM6.1 Kitchen CE OS 5.2.19716 (Build 19716.1.0.0) - UPDATED 20080308

Folks, I figured out almost all of the tweaks and little problems with this kitchen, EXCEPT connecting to encrypted wifi. Does anyone know of a fix to be able to connect to encrypted wifi with this install?

I didn't want to skim through 90 pages of threads, but this is Vista 32bit compatible right? I heard some horrow stories about flashing roms in Vista, so I just wanted to make sure that this Kitchen/upgrade is do-able in Vista? I read one post where someone said they had win2k sp4 and a reply suggested they have XP/Vista.. so just curious.
