Yeah, I just re-cooked it and made sure it was in the C:\BuildOS directory and it's still the same error.

This is the exact directory my BuildOS .prj file is in:

C:\BuildOS\TOOLS\HTC64_Extended_ROM_Tool

There is one in the C:\BuildOS\TOOLS folder as well. Select it instead. Not the one in HTC64 folder.

Aha, I think we are getting closer. There is no Verizon.prj file in my TOOLS folder. Any way I can just have someone attach it here? I don't know why it's not in there though...

Well odd thing: I took the Verizon.prj file and put it in the TOOLS directory and it seems to have taken it. I'll let you know how it goes when it's all done.

I don't know if those are the same prj file. I am hoping somone else jumps in if I am sending you down the wrong road. I have several prj files in my tools folder. Do you not have any listed there? I uploaded the one from my tools folder. Just rename it from .zip to .prj and put it in the tools folder.

Well, if you're even dealing the the prj files and HTC64 tool then you're using an old version of this kitchen. Please always check for new versions--in this case there were significant changes in the encoding so as to completely negate the need for the HTC64 tool. The newest version can always be found in the sticky post by helmi_c at the top of this forum.

I think I have the latest version and the htc64 folder is showing on mine. Of course I didn't delete the old kitchens, I just downloaded the updates and ran them. I assumed by running it was installing the new updates over the old kitchen resulting in the kitchen updating to the newest version. Boy that sounds confusing. Hopefully you understand what I mean.

I also noticed, did this dumbass thing myself, when I first DLed the Kitchen I extracted to (lets say my C drive) made my selections and build my first ROM ok. Then I decided to copy the Kitchen to one of my External drives so I can play with it anywhere I was and when trying to encode I got the same Fat 16 error, the problem was that my Build OS config file was still pointing to my original build drive.

Sorry about the longwinded explanation, just wanted to explain in case someone else was doing this (shows their is more that one possibility for this error).

BTW, Just DLed and installed the Kitchen and as it was the first time on 111707 all of the .prj files are in the \BuildOS\TOOLS\HTC64_Extended_ROM_Tool directory directly after installation (I tried installing to several different locations with the same results).

Yeah, I JUST downloaded this thing today and it's the first time it's been on this computer so I know it's not an old version.

I moved the Verizon.prj file to the TOOLS directory and that solved my problem.

If you doubt me then download the EXE on that page and take a look for yourself
