In the About section in BuildOS the url for PPCGeeks is listed as PPC-Geeks.com instead of ppcgeeks.com. PPC-geeks.com takes u to an ad site.

Really small nit...
In the build status, after completing the registry imports, when it is "Preparing ROM", the line reporting where it found the IMGFS start is found looks like it has an extra character ("null?") appended to the output. SO on mine, it reports: "Found at 00640000" with an odd rectangular box after the last 0.

I just read the entire thread, and didn't see any info on using the New BuildOS w/ WM5.
Are there any "How-to's" for using this w/ WM5?

I know, most people will say to run WM6. I'm currently on WM6, but I'm having an issue w/ BT DUN connections to my TomTom 910. It worked fine in WM5 as long as I included wmodem and internet sharing.
That is no longer the case in WM6. I'm hoping to do some comparisons to WM5 vs WM6 to figure out what changed.

Thanks.

It hasn't been finished/released yet but will be if there's enough demand.

Incidentally, Internet Sharing should have nothing to do with DUN in WM5 nor WM6. It's Modem Link and WModem that are the necessary combo for BT DUN. Internet Sharing uses BT PAN.

I am not sure why, but every time I try to build the ROM it gives me the error "Compiled size(0x395fe40) greater than max rom size (0x38e5800)". This particular error was using the default selections when the program started, the compiled size changes of course, but is never within the limits.

I am running Vista x64 ed and an xv6700 with kitchen v0.90 Beta

Don't select so much. The compiled size reflects the size of the rom you tried to build.

Are you sure you were using the "Default Selections"

Ok I am so new at this and having problems finding solutions to some errors in my new ROM.

I am having inout problems.

1 sometimes when I use the keyboard the top row will only allow numbers unless I use the letter recognizer.

2 sometimes when using the letter recognizer it will not write, every time I put in a letter it just dings at me?

3 is just a question. i have unlimited internet and data on sprint but not the tethering package. I use to use pdanet. Now with the new ROM the internet share works. Am I most likely getting charged from sprint on this?

If this has been previously posted I appologize in advance (please dont flame me). I did try the search feature and found nothing. I do find it difficult that I am the only one having this issue.

Happy Holidays

1. Do you mean the hardware keyboard is stuck on numbers (that happens when you press the Function DOT twice [it's a feature...function lock...very handy]) just tap it again to release function lock. OR Do you mean when you press shift or caplock you don't get symbols? OR do you mean when you gesture up it doesn't properly put the symbol OR you see a 10-key number pad (plus symbols) (the tenkey button is in the upper left corner of the soft keyboard, just tap it to return to normal keyboard). Basically can you discribe more of what your experiencing?

2. Thats the letter recognizer telling you it hates you. It's normal, write clearer, smoother, more Microsofty (less Palm), OR try changing the options for the letter recognizer (there are only three, found when you choose "options..." in your SIP menu (where you change from keyboard to letter recognizer), OR ditch the recognize user the hardware keyboard... its particularly good for ... typing

3. I have never paid for tether, I have tethered alot. Your mileage may vary.
