Thanks first to Hemi and then to all of the others who have done this work. Been running v.4 for over 24 hours. Doing great. Like someone earlier said:
Vista Hide, weatherPanel and a few others all from the WM5 kitchen.
Based on an OEM from TOV I would like to add two OEMs for freeware Bible readers that work with WM6. Readers are free as are some translations. Go to the web pages of each of these programs for the Bibles. I didn't include them in the OEM since many of the forum readers prefer a native language Bible. And the downloaded Bibles run just fine from the Storage card.
Attached Files
File Type: zip OliveTree.zip (587.9 KB, 3 views) Click for barcode!
File Type: zip Esword.zip (726.0 KB, 7 views) Click for barcode!

Tom,

I was about to go take care of Olive Tree. Thanks for getting a jump on it!

Hey Tomgyro,
I want to try using your OEM for pocket e-sword. But I thought I needed to install that huge SQLCE 2.0 file. Is that redundant in WM6?

A note to the moderators:
Do you think a thread with OEMs that work with this kitchen but not in it could be started ? ( see my post two replies up )
I'd require them to be freeware or fully original.
It might make the kitchen grow faster since each of us could find our "old favorite programs" and add them ourselves.
The only problem I see so far is possible dupliction of unique Id numbers since many of us used the same program to generate them.

Thank you very much to all involved in making the 0.4 WM6.7 kitchen.
I have been testing it and would like to say what I have experienced.

Word completion doesn't work in the messaging body or when selecting a contact from to: area. This is the first time I have seen this.

The other problem is that the phone will not connect to the Vista's mobile device center. It simply shows it not connected. With the original WM6 I was able to connect and sync.

The last thing is with the WIFI: As in WM5 I would need to change from internet to work to access any shared files on my LAN. When Helmi_C released the WM6 i was able to access the LAN from the internet setting. Now this is back to how it was with WM6.

Thanks again VerizonGuy, Helmi_C, and others!!

...

Thanks again VerizonGuy, Helmi_C, and others!!
I've noticed this also. I even tried a hack from Tweaks2K2 to change this and it made no difference. The other (probably related) thing I noticed is that names and the beginning of sentences are no longer automatically capitalized.

I'm also still having issues with my camera. When I close it using a hardkey, I get what can only be described as a color negative of the Today screen. I tried to get a screenshot of it, but curiously, the screenshot looks normal. I didn't have the issue with the original Helmi WM6. (But it did happen on some of the WM5 AKU3.5 ROMs.)

As for the vision thing... damn. That sucks. Glad it isn't necessarily permanent; but I know I'd be freaked. I had some issues with my corneas a few years ago that caused some amazing pain (didn't know the eyes could hurt like that) but mine was mostly "fixed" by wearing contact lenses.

Thanks for that info. If you wish, feel free to move my files to the ftp or just leave them here.

24 Hours in...

I've noticed some BSODs solved by popping the card.

Randomly my Joystick will not function when trying to scroll through a list of contacts or messages... at times, but not always a soft reset is required to fix.

Some lag here and there but it seems to be intermittent, not steady like the early AKU Roms.

That's really all I've got to report at the moment, nothing helpful really but that's where I stand.
