Re: Verizon Wireless Windows Phone 7 status (official release May 26th)
No, Asurion is giving me one for my broken TP2 so I'll live with it for a while and if I really can't stand the coverage any more than the HD7s is always an option as I am not signing a contract.
So, yes, I am getting a HTC Trophy for Verizon...Just sometime next week (backordered)

what error message are u getting? try this method, sync to Gmail instead of hotmail (same directions except replace hotmail with Google) then go into AS on the imagio and sync the contacts to Gmail after that goto hotmail and import contacts from Gmail over, once again make sure the contacts aren't in groups and that the HTTPS box is unchecked. then when Unger ur trophy login to that hotmail account first and it should work. this is how I did it. u can also set up AS exchange to sync with hotmail instead of Gmail after this is done (it will delete then resync all the contacts). |

support code 0x85010001 now when i try google sync i get a error message as well, which is weird because when i had my touch pro 2 i was able to do this with no problems it says "attention required" at the bottom and for the result it says "Synchonization could not be completed. If this problem persists, try deleting then recreating the device's sync relationships Support code: 0x800040005 and now the wait begins for fedex to bring my htc trophy!!! |

Re: Verizon Wireless Windows Phone 7 status (official release May 26th)
I went to the Verizon store yesterday to check out the Trophy firsthand. The blacks on the screen looked washed-out. Overall the screen did not even come close to looking as good as the AMOLED screens on the Droids right next to it. For kicks, I did try turning up the brightness on the Trophy and it was already on the highest possible setting.
I have been waiting for a WP7 device to land on Verizon since AT&T got their devices. After seeing the Trophy, I think I might hold off and see what other WP7 phones Verizon has in the pipeline. |
