I think Droid will die in a couple or 3 years, and though 7 won't be much, 7.5 will, and it will be 7.5 vs iPhone.

Thats funny since pretty much EVERY analyst says the exact opposite.

At the rate android is growing, death in a year?

WP is going to replace android? Now this was the laugh I needed for the day.

Now that Sony has "more or less" just backed Android/Google this is probably going to be a major thorn in Microsoft's side. Android seems to be doing well solely on it's own, if Sony allows ports of it's games to the Android OS, Google's App store is going to surge with sales and that is going to hurt Microsoft with all the Sony loyalist jumping in on the Android bandwagon. It's going to be very interesting watching Microsoft attempt to climb out of the grave it dug for itself by this revamping of WP7 with limited feature sets. I find the timing of the engagdet article amusing being this close to the across the pond release.

Man--I just can't wait to see those sales numbers released to see what the majority says with their wallets/pocketbooks most of these threads will finally quiet down, one way or another...

Wow... They're already revamping WP7? I thouhgt it just came out. LOL...
Sony is just buying its time. It's possitioning in anticipation of their last ditch effort...

They will surely release some titles to Android... But Android needs to lign themselves up with Nintendo... Cuz MS has Xbox... Sony has PS and Android has linux based developers.
