Why does everyone hate the iphone?

I take it you did not used any of the backuping software like PIMBackup to back up your contacts, txts and entires folders of your liking and keeping the backup on the mem card, then?

Yea the iPhone is pretty nice, but so are WinMo devices. It all depends on what somebody is looking for to determine which kind of phone/device will be best for them.

Personally I prefer iphones over WM phones. To me they run a lot smoother and faster. Maybe I've just had shit luck with WM

100% agreed.. I loved WinMo device, but hated having to search for programs to do what I wanted to do with it.. Wife brought home the iphone for me for christmas, and I havent looked back since.. It is amazing how productive I can be from this Iphone... Main thing is that I go to school online for my Masters, and I can actually access the site from my Iphone, where I couldnt on my WM phone with any of the browsers...

Lol yea i had that software but once again it was a extra step to take and i got tired of it . Im not saying that the iphone is the best phone in the world but im in the army and im not home and i can check my mail , check my bank statement with its own app i can check my phone usage , go online chat in msn msg all with out having to hack the phone and fast . Its a nice phone htc pro 2 but alot of work to have it where you want it .

Agreed, it can be alot of work.
If the carriers wouldn't screw everything up, then it would be alot better from the get go.
And I'd have to advise you against using your phone for bank monitoring, especially if your username/password for the website is transferred. It's very unsafe to do so; so use at your own risk.
But in your case, it's a nice phone, but for someone that has the time, it's not. lol.

Very well put.
They still need to give it a few more features, but they're getting it there.
A few more hardware upgrades would be nice also, but it still has some nice hardware.

Just to let you know I tried skyfire, opera mobile several different versions, IE, and the picasa browser or whatever it was called, along with IRIS..

But yeah I didnt try any real ones... lol..
