Why does everyone hate the iphone?

No I havent tried Rock.. Heard a lot of bad things about Rock, but I may give it a whirl.. Also Backgrounder has worked flawlessly for me on all of the programs that I have tried it on.

I think it all boils down to preference, and the user in the battle of these phones.. I was on Sprint and loved the service and price of my Sero Plan, but the choice of phones killed it for me.. I went from having the Moto Q, to the Moto Qc, to the HTC Mogul, to the HTC Touch, to my last phone which was the HTC Touch Diamond.. Each of these phones left something to be desired for me in their speed, touch screen, usability, and more.

With the Iphone though, there seriously is an app for just about anything that you want to do, the touch screen is just phenomenal and I dont feel like I have to beat on the screen to get it to register my touches, the battery life is ridiculously good for me, the AT&T reception is excellent here in Buffalo, NY, the 3g internet is a lot faster than the EVDO on sprint ever was for me, and finally I actually get cell phone reception while in Wal-Mart... LOL..

to be completely honest, there is absolutely NO reason for anyone to hate the iphone.. seriously. anyone that "hates" the iphone either hasnt used one, or are being completely biased for whatever reason. its like, people decide to hate it because its the most referred to phone. but stop and think why it sells so much and is so popular? maybe because it does do a lot of things that you wish windows mobile devices could do or not have to worry about half the things that windows mobile would have to worry about. ive been selling phones for about 4 years now, worked for sprint, worked for bestbuy mobile (selling every carrier) and now i work for at&t. and through my personal experience with cell phones, and trust me ive dealt with every smartphone imaginable- (hell ive been a member of this site for years) i can definately testify that the experience with an iphone completely overshadows all the experience ive had with my windows mobile phones, and thats saying alot since ive created roms, hacked into em, an did everything imaginable. so when i hear people that sit here and try to bash the iphone, i seriously wonder what exactly is the big flaw with the phone, because the ONLY thing that i found that really even matters is the ability to multitask, but then again, thats REALLY not such a big issue, given what else it offers.. plus something like that can be changed with a firmware update. do i really have to sit here and talk about all the issues we have with our windows mobile devices? look at how many threads we have on issues and problems- we have thousands of em. i say before you judge the phone, take a side by side comparison of them (and be honest with yourself for once) and you will see why the iphone excells is so many phases. hey, i love win mobile, and i wouldnt be a loyal member if i didnt, but im also not going to sit here and lie.

You can return it to stock easily if you need to return for any reason. Im pretty sure sprint/verizon would not knowingly accept your windows mobile device with a custom rom on it. I dont see much of a difference.

Yea jailbreaking alone does not effect the speed of the thing. It would depend what is loaded on it that could cause problems. But that is with any device. How many times have you loaded something on a WinMo phone just to have it cause problems instead of the intended purpose?

Sadly i was a htc fan for many monsths and when i got my sprint account and saw the htc pro 2 i was in love . I got the phone and had it unlock and place a mightyrom and after 2 months i was going crazy because every time i loaded a bad application or made an error i had to hard reset the phone and all pics all contacts (345) would be erace. I can say that i hate AT&T with all my guts but after getting iphone i can tell you that no phone can compare . Yes is true that you have to pay for apps but so far i had no crash , no hard resets and only thing i can complaint about is battery life but only because i play games all day . the pro 2 was a great phone maybe if i had it stock , but the iphone is a beast .
