i use smart lock with no problem... im talking about the lock changer... i think its found in the tools folder.

you can change from vga to wvga... i used it once and it caused the problem...

the other time i installed something else.... i cant think of what it was since i was playing with the phone like at 0400... couldnt sleep even tho i was dead tired....

the changer is the one that did it for me the 1st time

Ahh.. I think you are referring to the lock screen under the sys folder. I will try that. Sorry for so many noob questions. Not my first rom flash by 1000, but definitely my first kitchen build. Thanks....

edit.. Nope that didn't do it either.

More info - I am building a 28005 rom and I assume I choose 28005 XIP with it. (Right/Wrong)?

that is correct...make sure you check the "real WM 6.5 **" or else the rom won't boot.

after cooking your rom and booting up, do you change your theme from flamerise to classic blue or something else? that is the only thing that has done it to me.

Don't select the 4 Row tweak in the kitchen at all. I had that glitch awhile back with 28002 build and never had it since I removed that tweak. And yes, I have all the lockscreen blah cooked in. Or I should say HAD. I moved to 21XXX. Remember, the 25XXX and 28XXX are still Beta. Some tweaks, mods and apps won't play well with them.

Hey Calkulin, or anyone else. Should I download the v1.1 you posted earlier or should I wait for the final that you'll be releasing? Will there be a significant difference/update? If so, I'll wait but I have to be honest, my f5 key is beginning to fade

Just tried to remove both Start Menu Tweaks and now when I hit the start menu button it doesn't do anything. If I hit the hard start button it locks up for a little while. I am going to try and remove the 6.5.x tweaks as well and see if that does it.

Nope first thing I do after initial boot (and hard reset) is to try the start menu. Wierd why I am having this same issue everytime and not everyone else?

Wonder if it is the version of the test kitchen I am using??

no..don't think its the test kitchen...

I'm using the test kitchen running a 6.5.X ROM with the 28005 build.

I have not had the same problem as you...I'm pretty fickle the appearance of my UI...so I'm constantly changing backgrounds/themes and what not.

did u do away with some SYS folders while you were cooking?
