So the HD mini comes with 23101... does anyone have a dump of that we could use? I'm looking for a super-stable sys.

Haha! Not on an old Ford you wouldnt! Just having issues with the Holley, and I wanted to try it since I got the injection system off a Mustang laying in the garage. I got a Harely Davidson Screaming Eagle carb on my 1986 Suzuki Samurai.. if that makes you feel better.

As for the sys thing, I changed to 28232 and my phone seems to be much more stable, no more black screens or getting stuck on. No more IE memory issues.

Haha actually the Megasquirt setups are great, not the best for a street car, but tons of potential there... I thought about it for my mustang.

Question though, does the lock screen work on 28232? I know it didn't in the other 28xxx builds recently.

Thread Police?! OUCH! Naw... not at all. Sometimes I try to keep it on topic in thread where more needs to be said, but here it seems like there are just a bunch of good guys just shooting the breeze.

And cars... Dont get me started. Its an addiction that i wish i could get over... But I cant. I love wrenching on pretty much anything, but used to build race nissans. Waiting for my IncomeTax money to build a new Computer and Maybe put down for a Mazdaspeed3. Working on cars is an expensive habit.

And back on topic:
Ive built a few ROMS over the last few days...and noticed a few things. 236XX font looks good and seems to run quickly, but I was getting a REALLY bad problem with the TMail (sms) system. It would freeze and basically take the rest of the phone with it. I also had issues when bringing up the dialer it would reset the wireless connection. And it didnt keep call history... Lets say, I gutted it from the kitchen soon after.

I also noticed that using 2012 and the Opera 9.7 thats in the kitchen, on links in BING, SMS and whatnot, Opera would open and would just be a blank screen. It would not load the page that was linked to it. Someone else mentioned it before and i was just confirming.

I cooked in the Lockscreen Launcher App in 6.5.x of R3 and it seems to launch just fine on 28232.
Don't think it was launching without it though.

Honestly, 28232 is really stable but I'll still fall back to 28011 if I ever run into any snaggs. It was the SYS I used for the longest time with the most stability to date.

Can anyone explain the lockscreen app launcher? I have always cooked without it and my lockscreen looks and works fine including when phone calls come in. So am I missing something by not cooking this in? Also anyone recall how to strip out the needed browsing components of the 282xx builds to add them to others?

SYS by deafult has a lockscreen, and OEM providers have theirs in the EXT folder. Thats why it will work, even if you dont include it from EXT.

Lockscreen works fine, I am using the default one, no lockscreen changer installed. I also use proximity lock cab I found over at XDA.

Can you upload 28011 some place? I did a quick search of the thread but my laptop's battery is about to die. I'd appreciate the upload
