Re: [HOW-TO] - - Flash a Rom or Radio on your TP2 from the SD card

yes, backup your contacts first, I reccomend using ppcpimbackup, and or google sync (setting up your gmail as an exchange server). as far as for it still not working, the last thing I can say is try a different sd card and if you still have no luck try using nuestorage to format your card.

Re: [HOW-TO] - - Flash a Rom or Radio on your TP2 from the SD card

i wish i could figure this out again.

I know the micro card works, i can run apps off it.

I formatted again w/FAT32 and ONLY loaded the RHODIMG.nbh file and left the rest on my laptop. This time i used the .exe utility, hit next, next, etc.. and it went into loader. From that it immediately went to the white, Loading... screen and sat there.

Eventually the .exe loader program timed out and it told me that i either had a USB to phone connect failure, or vice-versa.

I've rechecked all the other settings previously mentioned (encryption, etc..) and they still are good.

ughhhhhhhh!!

Re: [HOW-TO] - - Flash a Rom or Radio on your TP2 from the SD card

Been following your directions to flash from sd card but phone stays on bootloader screen. a message flashes on screen "no image file" and then the phone just sits on the bootloader screen........any suggestions?

Thanks in advance for the help.

Re: [HOW-TO] - - Flash a Rom or Radio on your TP2 from the SD card

no image file means it cannot find the file on your card so theres a few option
A.) not on the root/base/no folder of the sd card
B.) not named correctly needs to be RHODIMG.nbh download total commander to make sure file explorer isn't hiding anything from you.
C.) the sd card is not formatted correctly
D.) sd encryption is enabled
E.) if all else fails try a new sd card sometimes people just get cards that wont work for some unknown reason, I recommend sticking with sandisk or kingston ive never had problems with those two brands.

plug phone into computer, choose "disk drive" on the menu that pops up on your phone. then, on the computer, open My Computer, then right click on the drive that represents your mem card, and pick Format. Then change the file system to FAT32, then hit start.
WARNING: doing this erases everything on the card.
