Re: RhodiumW/Sprint/Verizon/Telus Touch Pro 2 CID/Security/SIM Unlocker

I went to manage connections, added "cellular line, 3g, grps", and wap.cingular as the APN.

Even tried *99#. Again, no luck.

Any ideas?

It's a little hard to believe no one else on PPCG is running this config.

Re: RhodiumW/Sprint/Verizon/Telus Touch Pro 2 CID/Security/SIM Unlocker

Have a question regarding SuperCID...

Ran the unlocker last week and used whatever the default values were for SuperCID unlocking. Remember there being some suggestion there that not to touch it unless I had/wanted to.

Is the phone now SuperCID'd or does the unlocker not touch SuperCID unless you specifically tell it to?

If it's the latter... what would be the correct and safe process to do the SuperCID now?

BUYER BEWARE:

While I appreciate the hard work that Olipro and team do, I must say they do not deliver on their promise of 24/7 support that they make when they sell you the unlock.

I've been waiting for 2 days now and no support response or update on the Fatal error I get.

Give them a break. They probably get so many requests for support when the answer lay at the end of a search button.

Also, it's December... people have lives outside and between holiday shopping, holiday parties and what not... they can't always be monitoring their inbox for trouble.

I would agree with you 100% but...

I'm not using the free version, but the paid version, only because the paid version says it will work instantly and has 24/7 support.

I feel that if you are charging for something, and promising instant results and support, you should be there for it, even on the weekends, as promised.

Again... I realize they are providing a service to all of us, but what gets me upset is them advertising something fee based and not delivering it.

Re: RhodiumW/Sprint/Verizon/Telus Touch Pro 2 CID/Security/SIM Unlocker

I opened a ticket a few days ago (Paid Unlocker), took a day or so to get an answer.

Sure it can be hard to wait, but patience is the key.

Re: RhodiumW/Sprint/Verizon/Telus Touch Pro 2 CID/Security/SIM Unlocker

I dont have a TP2 yet, but can someone clarify this for me?

attending to get a TP2 from Sprint.

does this unlocker unlock the SIM card for all GSM use, while still keeping the CDMA usable for Sprint?

BTW once unlocked can i flash the rom (Energy or Mighty)? would this erase the unlocked data?

Re: RhodiumW/Sprint/Verizon/Telus Touch Pro 2 CID/Security/SIM Unlocker

Can anybody clarify whether I can get my TP2 flashed over to the Sprint network as I'm somewhat confused about what this will do. I know that this unlocks the SIM but Sprint is CDMA of course so wanted to be sure. BTW on my first attempt I got voice and text working but could not get the data to respond to the Sprint network without errors. Any insight would be greatly appreciated. Thanks Guys!
