Quick test feedback:

1. BT hangup:

a. which BT stack is this from? Verizon MR1?

b. does not work with a Jawbone ICON per my same procedures from my March.30.2011 testing post.

c. did not test with the Plantronics V Pro+ yet. Will try later this evening.

d. picky stuff: BT icon black and white only, not the normal blue from the other stacks without a 3rd party theme mod

e. did not test the ring tone and/or sound notifications going to BT only vs speaker (which the BTAG tool came about due to this)


2. Dialer:

a. what canvas is this? TMobile GSM Rhod?

b. GetMSL tool works with this canvas unlike the Leo GSM mod

c. landscape mode seems to work, at least the keypad icon is does not go off center. "Back" from viewing call history returns dialer back to landscape mode, unlike the Leo GSM dialer.

d. going in to the Contacts from the dialer (portrait or landscape), and then tapping "BACK" dumps you out of the dialer and back to the Sense home page.


Although this does not seem to be all positive news, what is nice is that NRGZ is the man in terms of trying to get us test ROMs quickly

The dialer is a CDMA dialer.

I will cook in another BT stack and post Version 2 of the ROM today for you to test. Give me a few minutes to cook it up...

The first of the April 7th ROMs immediately gave me the connection error upon call hangup via bluetooth. That's about all I was able to experience before I switched over to the second April 7th ROM.

So far only dialer issue per my other post:
- when going to view "Contacts", then going "Back" - you are not returned to the dialer, but sent back to Sense Home. I'm guessing this is just a registry entry tweak to fix this.

1. make an active data connection (eg, view a non cached web page via Opera)
2. go to dialer, make a call to voicemail or someone
3. tap BT hangup button


While I was at it, I re flashed the latest Sprint Stock ROM that I have: Sprint MR1 release.

Performed the same tests above (using IE, and installing Opera manually). BT hung up on all three headsets on the very first attempt. This goes counter to my prior test about mid last year when I flashed back to Sprint stock to test the BT hangup issue, which I was able to replicate the hangup failures.

For me... it hangs up fine with both the Nokia headset and the Blueant headset you sent me. I'm really at a loss with this

I can't test with a data connection because I don't have a phone with an active plan...
