I am saying the scale changes. When I am not in a call the scale is 7 bars, but when I place a call it changes to the thicker 5 bar scale that other providers use.

ok, but does the call quality or anything change because of that or are you just worried about the asthetics of how the bars look when you are making a call? there is a cab called "sprint 7 bar signal" that changes the signal bar from 5 to 7, just do a search for that if it sounds like something you want, i'm not at home or i would upload it, it might even be in the paperclip for this thread but i don't remember it being there.

I have that same thing. I think it has to do with the icons for the custom taskbar, not sure if a registry entry change would help.

did anyone ever come up with an easy .Cab to fix for usb tethering?
ive done reg edits and more time than not, it doesnt work.

(I am one of those guys without a sim card, i guess it is suposed to work with a sim card)

OK, so what network are you on? I would think that you would have to configure an internet connection somehow and see if it appears in the dropdown for USB tethering. I'm really just guessing here though...

WMWifi router has a BT option as well as USB.
