If I understand correctly, you're trying to get the latest Sprint radio, then flash NRG rom? I assume you are already HSPL unlocked, right??

Just get the latest stock Sprint rom from their normal upgrade site....no need for *228, that is for Verizon to program the phone.

my friends keep receiving 3 and 4 repeat text messages from my phone.. what’s up with that? i heard others mention this.. is there a fix and will this be addressed? it seems to only happen with text not picture mail.. when i text my best friends wife at 3am to come over and se says she cant. text me tomorrow.. my phone keeps sending her text.. this is going to mess up my side piece.. NEED help fast.. and that was a joke to get attention so this issue can be resolved.. "

This appears to be the Sprint update...

After the update, you'll have the latest radio, and as long as you're HSPL unlocked, you can then flash NRG.

http://www.htc.com/us/support/touch-...int/downloads/ This is the link for US bound phones. That website they take you to is for world wide. You don't need all these mumbo jumbo for PRL and PRI update. Like i stated, you can run those updates from your NRG rom. I tried and it works. No need for *228 or anything like that.

If you click the link that tkedch posted above, then click download for SPRINT TOUCH PRO2 MR | 03.19.2010, you should get the download window for HTC Touch PRO2 MR1.exe

tkedch and will sorry about all the previous post about it not working.. for some reason it wont open using my firefox and would just keep re-looping.. i tried it in internet explorer and no problem (downloading now!) once again thanks for all the help and quick reply.

Many crashes for me with the 23xxx Aug 13 build. I tried reference and DinikGlass. Moved back to Aug10 reference for now.

Did you Task29 before flashing? I've seen as many folks talking about crashes with the 8/10 vs. the 8/13 versions. What other apps did you install that might be causing crashes? What carrier provisioning did you run?
