Does anyone know why I dont have th screen rotate icon? I'm running 8/1 dinik 23673

Also is there a reason why if I choose to have a alphanumeric password I dont get the slide to unlock screen anymore?

Everyone might want to hold out on the aug 4 roms, nrg told me earlier today he is going to start working on new roms today with sense 2017 from the latest oboe rom leak!

rotate is done through G-config

lockscreen is dependent on how you set up cookies....CHT does not allow dial pad lockscreen,

OK folks, I'm back in business. I finished my organic chem class with a B+ which makes me oficially done with my undergrad and I start grad school in October. So, I have lots of ground to cover between now and October when I go "off-line" for a while.

During my short break this week I took a bit of time to flash the Aug 1 Cookie and I must say that I really love it! It is fast, solid and battery life has been the best for me so far out of all of NRG's releases.

Memory use varies but I think that depends more on the programs I'm running than the ROM itself. Right now Arkswitch says I'm at 35mb free of 183mb. But, things are running smoothly and I'm happy. (thats with my page pool set at 12mb)

Immediately after a soft reset, I am at a respectable 70mb free!

Overall, everything is quite flud and smooth. ....I'm also watching the clouds roll in quickly and enjoying the lighning flashes on my screen as I hear the thunder outside.

I was going to flash Aug 4 today but decided to wait after reading some of the other posts and I'll see what comes out by this weekend. If it gets any better than this, NRG will have outdone himself.

So, gimmie a bit of time to catch up on some of the posts and I'll try to answer some questions.

I think the "Two Bar Issue" is two signal bars on the signal indicator. I may be wrong but I've noticed that mine has not been going above two bars since I flashed Aug 1.

I may be worng though.

Someone asked a while back about how to make the onscreen keyboard go away. Whenever mine appears and I don't want it, I just tap on the zoom bar right below the keyboard button. Just tapping the button changes the KB, tapping below it makes it go away.

The new app list NRG posted on the first page shows a rotate screen Icon.

I dont have the CHT lock on..just the slide to unlock...funny it works when I used just numerical
