I , too had that after exiting "Edit Home Layout" at one point. I believe that problem was solved when I deleted the "Applications Data/HTC" folder on my storage card, and then fixed any errors and reformatted it. I definitely haven't had this issue since then, anyway.

Ok, the thing I don't understand is it worked before on both systems. The current one is a laptop ibm t43 with no other usb devices plugged in. I've also plugged it into the laptop dock that has a usb mouse plugged in.

The dock is plugged in and powered by an external power source. It powers the laptop when it's connected. I've charged my phone before on other builds of NRG.

no worries mate!
- switch usb cables
- reboot laptop
- uncheck start, settings, connections, usb to pc (enable faster data sync)
- I didn't read all your posts, but I'm assuming you did: start, settings, system, power, battery, make sure this is UNchecked: "when phone is on, do not charge the battery when connected to a PC.."
- if still not working, task29 & burn this newest ROM! (just posted July 30)

I've been searching through this whole thread looking for an answer about a mms sprint fix. I even was back in november of 09. Still i have no solid answer or cab that someone said it works. I have a sprint touch pro 2 running energy cookie 21907. I cant send mms and when im receiving one it has a download error and i get no message. Can someone please tell me if there is a solid cab fix for this so that i can fix this mms headache. I would really appreciate it..

Have you done the carrier provisioning? I think that once you do that (it's in the Tools menu), MMS should work.

hey im using 21907 energy cookie.. And i had a lot of bugs with home screen freezing and having to restart my phone everyday cause it freezes. But my brother in law has the same tp2 on sprint that i have and running the same energy rom and he's not having any of these problems. I found out what it was. The issue was the twitter. I have a twitter and he doesn't. When i logged out of my twitter. I've been having none of the problems i've had before. So is there any way u guys can look into it and get a fix for that, because i really need my twitter. But for some reason it is messing with the device...
