NRGs lock has always worked perfectly for me. When I tried SmartLock it was very inconsistent, sometimes it worked fine but other times it didn't lock at all & other posters where having similar problems.......

Really, the only thing SL seems to be doing is enabling the auto lock for me. It still doesnt have the cool features NRG's lock screen has where if you have messages, you tap the unlock slider and another slider will appear for the different message types.

But the SL will work for now I guess.

ok, what did i do? i installed that epst cab and now i cant get a ev signal... its stuck on 1X so i uninstalled it thinking it was messing with it but i still cant get anything other than a 1X signal...... ???

I installed this latest ROM today and for some reason couldn't get the animated wallpaper to work. I like the little clouds that moves around the entire screen. Can someone pls let me know how to enable this? I selected animated weather clock but did not help.

I set my quicklinks bluetooth toggle switch but does not work either. The other toggle switches works fine.

Help for those learning to flash their phones.


I wanted to help out anyone trying to get configured so customizing after
a ROM flash is easier to do. I've listed below the registry keys I export
using the registry editor burned into NRG's ROMs. i hope this helps someone.

I've listed the filename i use for each registry i export. You can do some
exploring and remove subkeys from each of these exported top-level keys.
I use ceRegEditor, connect to my phone, export the keys to my laptop,
edit each reg file to suit me, copy them to the XDA_UC directory, and they are ready for the next flash.

I wrote an app that allows me to stage these settings.
this allows me to run the XDAUC utility on my terms, that is, i copy my .cab
files to the XDA_UC directory, run XDAUC, copy my registry files to the XDA_UC directory, run XDAUC, then copy my custom links, apps, ringtones, alert sounds, alarm sounds etc.
this allows me a little control over the order of events.

BEWARE: don't do anything if you don't understand what you're doing:
BEWARE: you can screw up your phone and require a new flash!

I had the same problem. Try disabling the data connection, then re-enabling it.

its working fine on the cookie june.
i dont know about max sense tho but i assume it cannot be pim backup as thats a standard installation on all NRG roms...and i did try both 21905 and 23 series in june...n it worked fine on both
however would be nice to know in case i ever want to flash the max sense series which i am very tempted to at this point

What is the difference between 23569 and 21905 builds?
