Thanks, sadly it was the SIM card. I guess I expected it to complain about NO sim if I put it into GSM mode.

Anyone having problems with their hard keyboard not putting out the expected FN+character? ex: when typing FN+h, I'm expecting the \ character, but instead I get the ; character. FN+j outputs :

I experienced this, was informed that its a known issue with a hot fix already. See the FAQ associated with NRG's first post (a few posts down) at the beginning of this thread.

Not really an issue... more like a requirement. NRGZ cooks roms for a bunch of different phones and providers and they are all a little different. Example - Verizon keyboards are different than Sprint keyboards... so instead of NRGZ cooking a hundred different flavors, he cooks just the flavors by phone type, not provider. So there are little things you will always have to adjust... Like keyboard, mms, provisioning, etc. So DL the cab and keep it handy, you will use it everytime you flash.

if its for sprint look 2post above yours and you'll see, that i posted a cab to fix it...its called sprint keyboard fix, download it install it on ur device then softreset.
