from what i read (im a newb) you just put the cabs you want into the xda_uc folder in your mem card and when you reflash its suppose to install all the cabs in there.

no need for a cab. it is already in your ROM if you use NRG...

All you need to do with XDA_UC is create a folder called 'XDA_UC' in your storage card and put whatever Cab's you want to be auto-installed after you flash. To use NRG'z settings exporter (in ROM's dated May 1st on newer), do the same thing but create a sub-folder named 'Exporter' ('\StorageCard\XDA_UC\Exporter').

Here is another thread on the subject that gives you reg entries for settings you may want to backup using regedit (also in your rom already):

The FM radio does not work on cdma phones.

I got it to pick up stations in Taipei just by wraping my head with foil
