does the new Rom have the 'general settings' customization NRG was talking about recently? I've used xda_uc for CAB's but haven't been able to figure out the settings backup using xda_uc and I hate spending all day tweaking the phone.

Those having problems with Arkswitch being extra "crashy" in the April 23 23563 Cookie may have some improvement by going to Start/Tools/X Button Settings/Close Button Tab and adjusting the slider for the "Close Button Tap" (the top option) to 1 click from the far left. It will say "minimize App" to the right of the slider. Save and reset. I haven't had a Ark crash for over 48 hours since changing that.

Those with volume issues should try installing Audiopara3 cab below.

what settings? xda_uc merely installs things. Btw the wait for the mscr for the new beta to install takes longer and reinstalls my sdconfig. its faster for me to maullay copy to folders...

Justa shot in the dark, but try using the software KB instead of the physical KB to enter your password. I had a similar problem in the past and it turned out that one of the keys that I was pressing wasn't putting the right symbol into my password.

Hey thanks for trying but logging in isn't the problem. I can log in fine...it'll sync fine the first time...then after maybe an hour of it working, it'll stop. Everytime I get an email it doesn't push to my phone and when I try to manually sync, it says error synchronizing. Dunno what's wrong. Also phone did something funny yesterday...I was tethered to the phone with my gf's computer and then all of a sudden the phone just restarted on its own. Totally random. I didn't install anything new and that was the only time it did it. I tethered again later for longer periods of time and it was fine. Just an odd thing that happened that I thought I should mention.

for whatever reason, I was under the impression xda_uc could be set up to auto change settings such as adding locations in the weather tab, auto insert username & password in for Sense's facebook data, and any other random user settings (backlight, ring tones, etc.) I regularly flash ROM updates but it takes me hours to change things to how I like it. Is there any such thing to do this? I was thinking that NRG's built-in general settings backup might be this solution. (?)

you have to make the files .reg or .cab and .xml and put them in the /XDA_UC folder or in the /SDCONFIG.txt file.

There's a few possible issue and solution.

Try different usb cable as they do go out after awhile

Uncheck "enable faster data synchronization" usb to pc settings

Also, if you are having a simple issue of the computer not recognizing the phone. try a different usb port or shut down the computer, unplug the power for about 20 seconds, plug it back it and turn it on. this resets all usb ports and may solve the issue (as stupid as this is but has worked for me!)

I posted this before. But maybe somebody has a fix or setting change that I do not know. When my phone saves phone numbers (and a lot in my Outlook) - they are saved with a preceding 1. So the phone numbers look like: +1 (xxx) xxx-xxxx. The phone is unable to dial this format. I have never had a problem with any previous ROMs so I am assuming that it is an issue with this ROM (otherwise I am loving it).

I have tried to reflash from Apr 18 to Apr 23 (Titanium) but the problem still persists.

Any ideas? Fixes (other than the obvious of change all the saved numbers).

I am on the 23rd 23xxx cookie version and i am having issues now. For a while it ran great but I cant figure out what is wrong with it. It locks up on my after being in standby and when I get a message in while I am in standby. I have to open the back and do a reset. Anyone having this issue as well?
