I'm running the 23549 March 20th Cookie and it takes 12 seconds for the \windows directory to load for me. 2 minutes is an insanely long time!

You should be able to flash back to stock directly. You would only need to relock in order return the phone under warrenty.


Roms are complete packages (minus radio / loader splash screens). No updates are caried over from ROM to ROM.

I did not test this issue directly, but I found that after a short period of time the ROM would become almost non-responsive and I can beleive the 2 minute thing based on my experience.

I am back on the 17th and happy for the moment (until I need my ROM flashing fix).

NRG is aware of the issues with the latest ROMs:

He believes the SOD issue is related to an incompatibility with the Sprint drivers he used, and indicated he would be going back to the USC drivers for the next release. In the mean time, you may just want to roll back to an older release if you have one.

I just flashed the Energy.RHODCDMA.23549.Sense2.5.Mar.20.7z rom last night and although the rom is super fast, it freezes here and there and everytime i go to restart the phone, it locks up too. Another issue i've been having with it is that the alarm doesn't work on it either. almost missed school this morning. other than that, it is super sick so far

I also had issues with the 19th build to the point it was completely unusable. The 17th build is amazing and fast though so I just reverted back to it. One thing I cant figure out is how to get Verizon pic mail to work. Sending MMS works out of the box with 2.1 mms fix but I can not receive even after running provisioning. I use to be able to send and recieve fine after NRG switched to 2.1 SMS and using the 2.1 MMS fix but the latest build are not receiving. I keep getting "Error: Message expired or not available" dialog box after I select download.

March 17 is Solid....Best Rom I have ever used and it seems even better after trying March 20th

sorry still alittle confused here Ninja. I don't believe i ever updated my radio.

I received a new replacement touch pro 2 about 2months ago - same day I unlocked and flashed to NGRZ and have been using his Roms since. Are you saying that i would need to flash the official sprint Rom update so that i could update my Radio? -

Do i even need to updated my radio?

Can anyone upload the Either build of the March 17 cookie verison? I just deleted it before installing this and now i wish i still had it

Flashing custom roms will not update the radio but if you flash a stock rom it will also flash the radio image. It is not necessary to always update the radio but it can improve reception and battery life if you in poor service areas. You can also always just flash the radio separately by looking at the stickies in the upgrade forum.
