For what it's worth, I got the SOD this morning (7Mar09 Cookie ROM), and remembered someone mentioned something about the SD card, so I pulled the SD card - no change, pushed it back in, and when I pushed it in, the phone woke right up.

You prolly already found the combo as it sounds like there's some uploading going on now, but thought I'd share...

I had the same problem when I first got my HTC Touch Pro 2. You have to charge it to full then let the batter drain completely until it turns itself off. You need to do this about 3 times, then my battery lasted all day. The best way to do this is throw some music on your phone, set it to repeat and turn down your volume this will kill your phone fast. Or download a movie to your phone and watch it that will also kill your phone fast. I hope this helps

Good call on the battery issue. Try training the driver by killing it and recharging overnight. That'll make sure you reached max voltage if it's plugged in stone dead and charged all night. Jkal might be the winner here.

For draining it, you could just run android for a few hours.

I am totally pleased with my NRG ROM's. Love his ROM's. I was joking about owning a Porsche....just giving the original poster some crap. I have only used the 23*** ROM's.

how do we get rid of the sim card icon without using the crappy signal bar icons from the cab file posted a while back.

Reason asking: is i like many am trying out android releases, and really hate the ugly stock signal bars, and cant leave the sim in for android. (causees network registration issues)
Is there a way to have best of both worths with windows and android and the signal bars.


Can someone make a cab for the energy rom bars, to be fixed with no sim card present.

NRGZ, I know it's early but when you finish uploading roms you'll usually pop in here to tell us they're up. Is there any chance of some changelog info for these past few releases? Things are getting a bit outdated. Not to sound unappreciative, because trust me, I'm loving these roms. Just trying to keep up on current build info. You know they'll be asking for it. AFAIK this is just the Verizon driver set for this update, but we had a 9th, 9th RevA and now a 13th. Page 1 is only logged to the 7th.

Once you have booted Android with the SIM removed you can put it back in and Android will work normally.

Not sure if it was just me, but the 23544 Cookie Home is failing to update my phone. Gets to 25% complete and crashes. I'm going to flash with the standard version now to see if it's the ROM itself or just my downloaded copy.
