I dont have that and never have so Im guessing you installed something that enabled it. I know theres a setting that says something like, show message on arrival, but I cant find it and dont think ive seen it since the TP1. Ill keep looking to see if I can find it again.

Go into Settings, Sounds & Notifications.. Slide to the Notifications tab. In the Event block scroll to New Text Message and then uncheck the "Display message on screen block"...

Just found it and was about to post lol. I knew it was there somewhere. Weird thing is mine is checked but I dont get a message popup. I dont know why he would be getting one.

Actually I dont think any of those settings actually effect my phone. I think the new HTC settings override those because even the ringer is different.

Also how do you disable arcsoft?? I tryed a few cabs.. They were unsuccessful at installing.

Install the zenyee disable cab immediately after soft reset. Dont know if youre aware but it doesnt disable HTC completely only the mms send option so you will still be able to access the HTC software. I install arcsoft over the one thats installed still because I found that it works better.

How do people like the new messaging? Kinda I-Phoneish, just not as snappy. I prefer the regular IM looking kinda text myself. Other than that I'm really not having many problems, would love to get the epub reader to work for me seeing as how i have a ton of ebooks i'd like to start reading on the go but with the features of the app that's on our phones now. Anyone got any ideas on changing the bubbles in the text windows? Like i said, looks decent, kinda cartoonish, just isn't snappy.
