I didnt have to do all of that for myphone...mine worked normally. Which rom are u guys using?

Hi all just installed 864 on my device for sprint... I am having a few issues with it and wondering if anyone could answer them for me.

1. I cannot change the time setting as it is stuck on pacific us (im eastern), Did the add my city but now weather doesn't work. also shows wrong time on texts.

2. Data connection stays connected... if I try and switch it to auto it tells me I have to end my call even though I am not on one.

3. I believe this is related to the data but I cannot send sms... I can receive but cannot send unless data is turned off.

4. FM Radio doesn't work

that's all I think.

Also as far as data make sure that you dont have things running that use data... turn off auto update for weather, twitter etc. And if im thinking correctly I dont think the data icon he uses has grey icons so just because you see arrows may not mean the data is active.

3. You mean MMS?

4. Duh, since when did FM Radio work?

Just a quick question. If your using Sprint do anyone go to the phone options and change it to CDMA and is there a difference if you dont and keep it on both?

There is no reason to keep it on both unless you plan on 1. Using a GSM SIM card or 2. Traveling outside of the USA (which will use a GSM SIM card)....

Wow so yeah 20 some pages in... I didn't see an answer to my questions...

1. again I want it to work the way it was meant to work...

2. it's running and just disabling it isnt a fix, its a work around...

3. No I meant SMS...

4. Then why have it on the rom... so I was wondering if it was supposed to work...
