K I tried to ignore this the other day... but can't...

1. Read the beginning of the htc touch pro2 forum. Your questions have already been answered there along with the IMPORTANT links you need to Read not skim and instructions.

2. posts every minute because someone didnt come to your beckon call will only piss people off. We don't spend 24/7 on here.

3. READ......

4. Get your system up and then read different posts in reference to what rom you want to use, with large threads, towards the end will be more to the current versions people are using.

It works on 23518 build. you have to choose the setting to have it threaded. When getting you new tp2's its a good idea before you try customizing to get familiar with how things work. They are still there just some of the menu's may have changed. these are advanced builds of stock. Stock is stripped of some of their goodies & functionality

Listen...I've had the phone since launch, so check your flames. It DIDNT work for me on 23518, if it worked for you...great. If I had seen any settings, they'd have been changed. If you're talking about the "SMS Threading" Button...I'd have to be retarded to not see that. I posted the question because I've spent countless hours reading and searching for fixes and came up short. Its not really that big of a deal...I'll take the classic view over being treated like an idiot any day

Never hurts to flash to stock & relock when sending the device in for replaecmnt. not sure if Asurion checks in cases of damage or not. Wouldnt think so since its insurance not warranty covering the replacement. The stock rom can be found by going back to the TP2 UPGRADES forum and to the stock rom thread thaqt is stickied at the top of the forum. Sorry for no link I am using the tp2 while grocery shoppin.

NEWBIE.. check yourself! reread your own post! There is NO way anyone would know you had what when.

23518 - go to start menu\settings\system and you will see big button.. sms threading! when you click that it says text message settings .. reset to make changes take effect! If you had tried it you would see it works

iv sent all mine back custom, and never had a problem. plus your screen is busted so all they will do is look at the screen and say "yup its broken" and thats it. i highly doubt they will go through the phone.
