Same here, I think the Dec 17th Dusk ROM just might be the best ROM ever made.

I have switched away a few times but always return to what works perfectly.

If weather has your location then GPS is working since weather works off your GPS. You dont have the Automatically decline location services box checked in Location settings right? Also, make sure in settings>>personal>>phone>>cdma services location setting is turned on. There looks like theres about 5 or more different gps settings on the phone, Id double check em all to make sure I dont have anything denying permission.

Ok well check to see if its actually the GPS or a software issue by going to the HTC GPStool in the GPS folder. Click open port, start test, it takes about 30 seconds I believe. Then go to menu, information and if it gives you GPS data then your GPS is functioning.

Here is a link to a forum explaining how to fix the gps issue on the tp1. It may (or may not) work for the tp2. If all else fails for you you might want to try it.

This post is by a guy with the tp2 that says it worked for him.

Just found this thread too supposedly working for tp2 and tested.

Also, another thing... If you have changed your radio try reverting back to a stock radio. My stock radio works great and I havent found any reason to change it.

cna't get access to some of the old archive files. i dont' know why nrg choose depositfiles as the host, but it sucks. can't download the dec17th dusk rom

I can't either.

I am running that ROM myself & I think it might be the best ROM ever made.

After seeing how perfectly my system works, a co-worker of mine tried to DL that same ROM but could never got the DL link to work.
