Today I'm serving up an HTC Touch Pro 2 CDMA ROM, based on Windows Mobile 6.5. The current build number and date can be seen in the title of the thread.

I build my ROMs with four main goals.

• Eye candy
• Speed !!!
• Smoothness, consistency and good aesthetics
• Stability through private beta testing before public release

I preconfigure a lot of things in my ROM, because when I flash it on my phone, I want it ready to go, how I'd want it. So, expect the backlight to be set at the maximum brightness, the ringtone, sms/email and other notifications to already be set. Doing it this way, makes for a nice ROM that's ready out of the 'box'.

You will find a new ROM posted here every few days, as I always update them with the latest "ingredients" that come down the pipe, from either Microsoft or HTC. Because of that, I recommend learning to backup your settings with either Sashimi or UC (User Customization). I also provide an example script to use to save your email settings in one of the posts below.


You will find TWO core versions of my ROM.

• The 21885 Build is from the OEM COM2 Tree and is the most reliable and bug free release. I recommend you start with this first!

And...

• The 23518 Build that's the latest in the 6.5.3 series with the Start/Close buttons at the bottom. These builds are not as compatible with older apps as 21885 but they reflect the latest cutting edge technology from Microsoft.

I loved NRG roms with my touch pro and am loving them on my touch pro2. All the other chefs have rtried to cook stable 2.5 roms, and while some do excellent work, NRG has rebuilt his from the ground up. After trying them all, I always come home to this rom. Currently running the 23518 build and loving it. I miss the dusk theme but it is easily installed with cabs. Thanks for all your hard work NRG and keep em coming!

I am having serious problem with my GPS "My Location". My manila Weather Tab displays a completely different location from where I am whenever I hit Update Now.
I installed GPS Registry Fix Energy ROM and it didn`t help at all. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance

Gah I had picture messaging working earlier thanks to directions someone posted a few pages ago, but it all of a sudden stopped working? I hit send, it chugs for a little while and then it tells me it fails out. Anything I need to do? I have the Sprint set up in my CDMA servers list if that matters at all.

edit: I also can't receive picture messages now either. I open it up and hit download and it just says it failed after a period of time. I didn't change anything between this morning when it was working and now. I don't get it!

ehhh ok..so the ROM was going great. First thing I did after backing up my files was removing the tabs I dont use. and my screen turned into this:



This happen to anyone else? I really have no choice but to flash again. I tried everything. Changing the wallpaper doesnt do anthing :/
