I'm sort of new to all this so if I posted in the wrong place I'm sorry. I had the phoenix rom on my touch pro and was pretty happy with it. I only had to switch versions once to get sms working...getting off topic.

I just got my touch pro 2 and I'm trying to decide if I should flash this rom, or perhaps the phoenix one for tp2, or wait for sprint to officially upgrade to 6.5. I love everything about the way his roms look, but I know this is a newer device and it takes time to work out all the kinks, which is understandable. Can someone give me a quick list of what the major issues are at this point in time so i can decide if i want to put that much time in. I know for the pro1 there was an extra cab you had to install to get mms to work, is that the same here? Is sms working ok? I know I'm asking for a lot, guess I just don't want to have to sort through so many pages to see what each person's individual problems are. I like the way the Leo looks better, but I read that it wasn't as stable. Any thoughts or suggestions would be much appreciated...thanks in advance.

I think it may be more of a quality control at the factory. crap gets pushed thru one day, good stuff the next.

Battery life on Dec 17 6.5.3 based ROM is great for me as long as I turn down the backlight and I also install a power management CAB I posted earlier.

On the December 31st....

Wow my battery went quick. Having said that, it was before everyone realized that you need to turn off document indexing. Maybe that is the difference.

If you are new to this ROM installing....I would Install the Dec 17th ROM and not the Dec 31st ROM. The 17th has all the bugs out. The 31st has a lot more cool factors but it was much slower and I had usability issues with it. Just my 2 cents.
