Love the Dec 17th ROM other than the remarks above, and keep up the good work NRG!

By the way, you should have seen the look on the Verizon salesman's face when I complained that the TP2 had 6.1 on it when I had 21864 on my TP!

The crashing etc is not the rom but other software or previous rom remnants. To clear up all the lock up whoas do this it worked for me.

Do not restore your settings with pim or myphone

Personally I think s2u2 was the main cause of all my random lockups etc but maybe there is something to say about rom "remnants" or maybe the prl update... I have not locked up once since doing this.

I remember him saying a while back that he wasn't going to do any more dusk ROMs because not enough people downloaded them to make it worth his time. You'll just have to install the theme from now on (I know, I miss it too).

I've been using NRG's roms for a couple of years now (TP1 now TP2). I have never had to do the flash dance or do many hard resets. Usually my hard resets have been because NRG updated something and my Sashimi backups had the old system settings (which I then grabbed the new settings then hard reset). I've been using S2U2 this entire time. I absolutely love it. I don't have any lock ups at all. I do soft reset in the morning when I pick up my phone, but that's about it. I don't use cleanram either.
Maybe I'm just lucky in all this (I'm not a really heavy user). But I just don't think that you can say that you HAVE to do the flash dance and that the issue is S2U2.

I've posted about 3-4 about SMS locking up my phone many times through out the day.

No answers. Gotta switch ROMs now
