I actually have been with this thread since day one and I know about the FAQ page being in post 18. I tried doing that first and got no where so I figured between post 18 and 5552 that something must have changed.

Yeah, We've kinda been trying to get mods to move that since, well, about post 18, this is post 5554, I don't think it's gunna happen anytime soon, unfortunately. It would also be cool if people could read at least two pages into a thread before asking questions, cause really, it's not that far in :P

I know we're on different carriers and sprint seems to be especially finicky (the fix work all the time or not at all) on this ROM, but it's worked every single update for me. This isn't me saying you're obviously doing something wrong, just sending you my condolences. From one day one reader thread to another.

anybody know where i can find more animated wallpapers like the ones in this rom(i want something instead of the showing spots to show the blue lightning on the bottom to move)?
i found the winmo 6.5.x rom way to laggy for me so im switching back to the newest 6.5 rom.

Sprint Users have to resort to this method still b/c MMS doesn't work in HTC messaging.

do the regedit in that post that I wrote. soft reset. Install 2.1 fix and you are golden to use MMS in outlook. The regedit makes sms/mms visible in outlook. This is the "hybrid" method. You really just go to sms in outlook to receive and send mms. You can still use HTC messaging for SMS. Thats fine by me really. How any MMS do we send and receive anyways. Sending is pretty much the same b/c when I send something, i go to albums and find the picture I want to send, then press the send button and choose MMS....

I am not desperate. I am with telus, I could not get MMS to work even if I did put in all the time trying to get it to work. I would like MMS, but I would rather have no lag when I type. . or a way to shut off my phone which I still can't find a way to do!

If you hold down the power button for something like 3 seconds, doesn't it give you the option to turn it off??

There is really no reason to ever turn these phones off but it is always possible.

When I hold down the power button all I get it a menu that pops up that give options like terminate data, air plane mode, lock device, restart device. But no power off. (same menu I got before when I hit the comma) I used to get the three sliders, with a option to shut phone off.

I can't believe this still hasn't been fixed.

People assume (rightfully so) that the FAQ will be located in the same place as the ROM DL (or in the next post down)

When it is not there they assume it doesn't exist. At that point, when they see there are over 500 posts, they are abviously going to post a question. They may even try to search first, but a noob user will almost never find the result they are looking for with the forum search (especially considering there are about six different ways you can search here, it took me 6 months to figure out how to actually get the search to find what I was looking for)

If that FAQ was on the first page where it belongs, there would probably be 200 less posts in this thread.........
