Found the cause for what I had been posting below:

Since NRG was coming out with a new rom, I went ahead & reflashed 28011, installed 1 by 1 all programs I use. Nuttin.

Installed the whoops file 28014 thats missing Maxmanila. Loaded max sep, and all programs still nuttin.

BUT! Themes is the issue, just switching to EnergyROM_Transpsoftkey theme creates missing buttons and so does Crimson Darkness for Titainium as well as all others I tried to use. Not sure why it does but thats it! Nor is Maxmanila the cause.

Switching back to EnergyROM_Plus theme brings all buttons back. Hope this is helpfull in fixing this problem in the future and I am glad to finally figure out WTH was goin on.

With this rom SLAMMIN FAST etc, we are all going to want to customize the hell outa theming.

Could you please... fix the calendar issue's. IE: no menu options showing up and even trying to find them they are not in the same place each screen? Greatly appreciate it. (look alittle silly standing in front of a client trying to schedule them in pecking around for the menu bar & next buttons that cant be seen). This is from when adding calender as short cut to get more options for calendar. Main slider calender isn't showing advanced options.
Also there is still a quirk in the start menu. After using the back arrow a couple of times it still dissapears but a black box is still there so you know where to click. Weird Still happens. But is astectic on a nearly Pefectioned rom

I started getting backlight problems today, as in the screen will turn off very quickly without my prompting, within two or three seconds of me waking up the device. I turn the screen back on, and it shuts off quickly again. I have the settings to turn off the screen after 1 minute, and I've set up the lock to always go on when the screen shuts off either by my doing or through the timeout. When the backlight is quickly going off like this, though, the lock screen does not appear.

I wasn't doing anything particularly strange when this started -- just playing some music through Windows Media Player and updating the library. Any suggestions? I'm running the December 9 21884 (standard manilla) ROM.

EDIT: I've now soft reset numerous times, and even turned off the automatic backlight settings. The phone starts up normally after a soft reset, and the screen stays on, clock works, data, etc. But once I turn off the screen manually the first time this starts: when I wake it up there's no lock screen and the "quick sleeping" begins while everything else is working properly. Phone is essentially unusable in this situation, of course (after the first sleep).

if you have programs running in the background, it'll kill your battery even in sleep mode.

Damn. How did energy do it. He got MMS working and kept the contacts shortcuts to work and go to HTC messaging if you default it to messaging for a contact.

Edit. OK. i just did a freaking hard reset and tried the mms. doesn't work. you're gonna have to be a little bit more descriptive.

Hey RW, long time no speak........I have been on Juicy's Rom for the longest time now. Thinking of taking an NRG Rom for a spin again. Particularly 28014. Do you know how the stability is with this Rom? Is it ready to be used on a daily basis or should I still stick with the older 6.5's for that?

i was beginning to wonder where the hell you were dude.

NRG has his 280xx roms pretty well perfected now. they're just as fast and stable as the other 21xxx versions. there are just so man to choose from.
