it is sad yes but we all knew this was coming. i love my TP2 on verizon i loved my AT&T TP2 better but who knows. i have owned a droid X and the original Droid and i loved them both but gave my droid x to my GF and went back to my tp2. I will most likely in February upgrade to a Samsung nexus phone or htc phone. I will always remember my tp2 though and how it was so much better than all the other phones i have had i really liked the keyboard on it more than anything else.

I am having trouble with updating the PRL on this ROM. I tried accessing the FAQ on post #6 on the first page but it just tells me that the site is having technical difficulties. Can anyone tell me how to update the PRL?

Hey,there are still a few of us hanging around this old thread! Good to see you here asking for help Austinite. First, try going to this link: http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/misc.php?d...hments&t=86489 then scroll down to find the file: MR.X Sprint PRL FW Profile Update.cab. Once you install this file, you will find an option in your settings to do a PRL update. Good luck, let us know how it goes.

It appears that worked so far. The real test will be when I take my phone out of town this weekend to an area that requires me to roam off of the Sprint network. For now I am crossing my fingers. Thank you are posting the link to the thread with all of the cab files and telling me which one to download. I have tried other PRL Update cab files but none of them completed the full operation of turning the radio off and then back on again. This one did so it looks much more promising towards execution of updating the PRL correctly. Thank you thank you. The touch pro 2 is actually a recent upgrade for me. I had the Touch Pro 1 for over a year and Sprint finally had to replace it through the insurance program and in the process they upgraded me to the Touch Pro 2. I enjoyed using the Energy ROM on my touch pro 1 so naturally I am here trying to replicate a similar experience for the Touch Pro 2. I hope that there is still development for this ROM, if not I will enjoy it until this phone dies or I get tired of it.

Is there a way to disable the short vibration that is created when a call is connected? I had this option on the Energy Rom for the Touch Pro 1 but I cannot find it on the Energy Rom for the Touch Pro 2.

I figured it out. I used the vibration registry keys.jpg file from the link t-bob posted above to know which respective registry keys to edit using Start-->Tools-->Registry Editor. I changed some of the corresponding registry keys to have a value of 0 instead of 1. Basically, I want my phone to vibrate only when I am receiving a call or a text message. These settings allowed me to accomplish this and it worked like a charm!!!

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\HTC\PHONE\PhoneExtendS etting:

ConnectingVibration to 0
KeyPadVibration to 0
VibrateLevelWhenAutoSpeaker to 0 (this did not completely disable this particular vibration but greatly minimized it)

Under:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Opera\Defaults:

VibrationEnabled to 0

Glad you figured it out. If you ever want to change ROM's or need to re-flash, I made a cab for this long time ago... HERE keeps you from doing it manually every time.

Does anyone know how to shorten the vibration alert for text messages? When I receive a text message with the vibration alert on, it vibrates for a long time. I would prefer a much shorter and less obtrusive sounding vibration alert. I did some searches on the registry and I could not find any specific keys to change this. Any thoughts?
