huh? i never said i am connected to the computer when trying to connect the data connection...if i'm on the train on the way to school the bars turn to the activesync icon when the data connection is turned on (and i'm not on the computer on the train).

i saw someone else write about this a while back in the pages, but no one ever replied.

when i do the provisioning for us cellular, i soft reset, and when i go to comm manager and turn on data...the settings come up for creating a network (i choose USC for both drop downs). is that correct?

What Bluetooth issue were you having that this fixed? My issue (I will post as a response to the post that mentioned it) is the hang-up problem. This service is already set to automatic. Bluetooth aside from the hangup issue has been flaky for me (things like it will set up a call and as soon as it starts ringing, it will drop the BT connection, though upon a retry, it works perfectly).

First item: where does the GTX Sense theme come from?

Second item .. You mentioned the issue of hanging up the phone via Bluetooth. I assume that is to say you hang up on your hands-free device, and the BT connection drops, but the phone refuses to hang up, correct? This had been an issue for me in my truck since the day I got my TP2 (my previous phones worked perfectly). The problem went away upon flashing the updated Sprint Radio, so I was thrilled, and was certain the problem was with the radio and not anything in the build or with my hands-free system. That theory went out the window when this ROM (no radio update, mind you) re-introduced the hang-up problem.

I haven't seen anything in the thread that suggests that a) very many people are experiencing this particular issue and b) that anybody has any updated information as to where the problem is. I am starting to think that the common denominator is the firmware of my truck's hands-free system having issues with the TP2 since it is only the combination of those two devices that has exhibited the intermittent issues.

Anyway, I would be interested if anybody has any better theories or actual info.

My truck is an '09 with the REN MyGig stereo with integrated U-Connect. I have tried my phone on a friend's truck with the RER MyGig, and while my truck would not hang up my phone, his truck would.

I am using 23554 Cookie March 30 (the build that re-introduced the issue) on Sprint.

I was getting an error when trying to turn on BT. I guess the easiest way to explain the behavior would be to turn off that service and then try to start bluetooth.

Nothing "funny" was loaded. You never know, maybe someone else might have that issue. Sorry for the "misinformation"
