Yep, Opera 10 doesn't use the TP2 hardware zoom. I prefer 9.7 because of this. I hate the tap-2-zoom as sometimes it doesn't zoom enough to click a link...

I have not activated the my location for weather and WOW... all the lag i was experiencing that i hear other complaining about is gone...

I was thinking is there anyway to add a location to the weather section that way the gps doesn't need to be activated yet i can still get weather updates????

No, newer! VZW's rom is 2.1 sense.
This latest ROM comes from a Chinese Rhodium Shipped ROM and will have 2.5 and the eBook reader tab.

Install this cab. Disable Sense first then install, restart Sense and you should be able to find your city. Typing is very slow so be patient.

i actually like opera 10 beta 3 a lot. Yes, no hardware zoom but that never bothered me too much. I had my gripes about opera 10 until going back to 9.7. LoL. I have changed my tune. It was refreshing to have opera 10 back. It is sooooo much more snappy than 9.7. IMO anyway.
